Pretest/Post test
All students will be taking a pretest at the beginning of each chapter/unit. Pretests will not count toward the student's grade, however the post test will count. This practice will help me guide my instruction for the chapter/unit. This will be a great topic to talk about during my office hour times as it will show how a student is progressing throughout the year.
NWEA/Map Test
This test will be given in the spring of the year usually the first week of May. It is a computerized test that measures students growth from the previous spring.
MCA Math Test
All students will take the MCA Math Test in April 2015.
OLPA (Optional Local Purpose Assessment)
This test is very similar to the MCA test. It is scored like the MCA's and gives specific feedback in each Strand area. The purpose of this assessment is to gather information to make sure each student is on track for the MCA test in the spring.
